Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of field managers to achieve sales targets and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Monitor and control expenses, including fuel, vehicle, training, travel, and stationary costs.
  • Analyze data to identify new business opportunities and provide insights for improvements and innovation.
  • Negotiate new listings with store managers and distribute trade presenters to field forces and customers.
  • Manage promotional activities, including the implementation of promotion grids and communication with field forces.
  • Achieve POP objectives by implementing generic planograms and ensuring market share reflection on shelf.
  • Demonstrate operational excellence by managing resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Engage stakeholders through regular reporting and feedback.
  • Take full responsibility for the performance management of direct reports.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years' operations experience in an FMCG environment at a managerial or supervisory level.
  • Relevant diploma or degree at NQF level 6 or 7, Code 08 driver's license.
  • Leadership skills, problem-solving skills, computer literacy, business acumen, commercial awareness, negotiation skills, sales management skills, decision-making skills, communication skills (verbal & written).

Estimated Salary: R550,000 - R650,000 per annum, depending on experience.
