Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Kencorp is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our HR department to ensure seamless payroll processing.
  • Process payroll within required deadlines, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are in place.
  • Verify and process new employee onboarding, including updating employee information and banking details.
  • Modify existing employee information, such as changes to banking details and employee movements.
  • Process one-off changes, including pay-rate increases.
  • Prepare monthly payroll reports for submission and review.
  • Complete UIF forms, such as UI-19, Certificate of Service, and Salary Schedule.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Provide support to management for account reconciliations and payroll-related tasks.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or NQF 4 Certificate.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a payroll role or similar position.
  • Working knowledge of SBCPP payroll software is advantageous.
  • Payroll Certificate and/or accounting experience is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
