Program Manager Job Description

Wabtec Corporation is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for freight and transit rail. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, executing, and tracking of installation and service projects in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor project plans, schedules, work hours, and margins.
  • Prepare reports for distribution to stakeholders.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Support a range of projects, driving efficiency and ensuring that our commitments to clients are met.
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques.
  • Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program.
  • Ability to work positively with a wide range of individuals involved in program management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
  • The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels and functions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
