Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated First Line Support Technician to join our team at People Dimension. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logging and Tracking Support Calls: Utilize our ticketing system to log and track support calls in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Technical Support and Assistance: Provide technical support and assistance to customers with first-line support issues related to VSAT, Fibre, LTE, and Wireless.
  • Escalation and Collaboration: Escalate calls to second-line support or vendors as necessary, and collaborate with installers to resolve installation-related issues.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Generate data usage reports and maintain accurate call logging procedures.
  • Quality and Compliance: Adhere to our internal support SLA and maintain a high level of quality in all interactions.
Requirements
  • Technical Knowledge and Experience: Proven work experience as a First Line Support Technician or Helpdesk Support Technician, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Education and Certifications: Matric certification and a tertiary qualification in A+ or N+ or a relevant field.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
