Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at Guardian Recruiting. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and courteous phone and in-person reception services to patients and visitors
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
  • Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with preparing patient files and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including the waiting room and patient rooms
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Experience in a medical setting is essential
  • Bilingualism in English and Afrikaans is required
  • Driver's license and own transportation is required
  • Exceptional administrative skills, including attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
