About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SME Credit Analyst to join our team at Status Asset Management. As a key member of our credit team, you will play a crucial role in assessing and evaluating SME loan applications, ensuring that our lending products meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loan Application Assessment: Evaluate all loan applications allocated to you, ensuring that they meet our credit criteria and lending policies.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on all loan applications, rejecting those that are not viable and presenting prospective good deals to our credit committees for approval.
  • Loan Implementation: Implement approved loans properly, including all relevant documentation, client management, and execution of digital loan documentation.
  • Client Management: Manage client queries, ensure timely completion of loan applications, and perform after-care visits or calls to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements, income statements, and cash flow to assess creditworthiness and make informed lending decisions.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to our SME credit policy and operating procedures at all times.
  • Business Development: Participate in promotional events, such as SME exhibitions, to promote and explain our lending products to prospective clients.
  • Performance Metrics: Achieve and exceed budget targets allocated to you, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Min Grade 12, preferably a BCom degree or diploma in Financial Management.
  • Experience: 3+ years of loan officer experience, with a strong understanding of financial management and lending principles.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to build and manage relationships, effective planning, organizing, and time management skills, and proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
