CFO360, a leading accounting firm in South Africa, is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Accountant to join our team in Durbanville. This exciting opportunity will allow you to leverage your technical accounting skills and passion for client service to drive business growth and excellence.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant with more than 3 years of experience in managing a portfolio of clients, preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance documents. As a leader in our team, you will oversee and mentor junior accountants, stay up-to-date on the latest accounting and tax regulations, and contribute to the growth and development of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their accounting needs are met with exceptional service.
  • Accounting Compliance: Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior accountants, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Growth and Excellence: Contribute to the firm's growth strategy, identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience: More than 3 years of accounting experience or completed articles.
  • Skillset: Strong technical accounting skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Potential Advantage: Experience managing a team, experience with various accounting software packages, proactive approach to problem-solving.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary of R600,000 - R800,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits package including medical aid, retirement fund, and performance bonuses.
