About the Role

As a Sales Travel Advisor, you will play a vital role in providing world-class service to our customers, helping them plan and book their dream holidays. Your expertise in travel and tourism will enable you to understand customer requirements and preferences, and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Provide professional travel advice and guidance to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  2. Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth, identifying new business opportunities and implementing plans to capitalize on them.
  3. Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest travel products and services, using this knowledge to inform customer interactions and improve sales performance.
  4. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize results.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Travel and Tourism Certificate, Proficient on a GDS, Amadeus preferred, Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year travel industry experience in a retail or tour operator environment, with a proven record of reaching sales targets.
  • Skills: Practical experience with compiling travel packages and creating costings, able to work flexi hours (shift work), working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Good geographical knowledge.
  • Knowledge: Thorough working knowledge of reservations process from input to output, Experience with reading and interpreting contracts, Ability to meet targets and attention to detail critical, Effective communication skills.
