Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in efficient clinic preparation and closure to achieve blood collection targets.
  2. Ensure donor registrations are undertaken professionally, accurately, promptly, and in a friendly manner.
  3. Conduct basic physical checks/assessments to correctly evaluate donor suitability for donations.
  4. Pursue phlebotomy procedures professionally, adhering to standard operating procedures, and providing excellent service to donors.
  5. Perform general administrative duties.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
  • A current CPR certificate that will be renewed as necessary
  • The incumbent may be required to operate a company vehicle from time to time, subject to operational requirements
  • A valid code 8 or 10 driver's license
  • Preparedness to work overtime, weekends, and varied hours within prescribed limits and conditions
  • The ability to stand for extended periods, carry loads up to 14kg, and assist with loading/unloading vehicles and climbing stairs
