Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at the State of Maryland. In this role, you will provide individual, group, and family counseling services to improve the functioning of individuals served.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate therapies, services, and referrals through the mental health school-based program.
- Work closely with a robust psychiatric treatment team within the Behavioral Health program.
- Collaborate with the Board of Education to ensure effective support for students.
- Travel to all Worcester County Health Department sites as needed.
Requirements:
- Degree determined by the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners under licensing requirements.
- No prior experience required.
Licenses and Certifications:
- A Graduate Social Worker or Master Social Worker license from the Maryland State Board of Social Work Examiners is required.
- A valid driver's operator's license in the State of Maryland is also necessary.
Selection Process:
Applicants meeting minimum qualifications will be included in further evaluation. A rating system will assess your application based on education, training, and experience related to the position.
