Responsibilities and Requirements
- Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver and manage patient care from admission to discharge
- Conduct thorough patient assessments/reassessments according to standard procedure
- Develop and coordinate individual plans of care, including discharge planning
- Direct, supervise, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care within assigned clinical settings
- Delegate tasks appropriately to others based on job description and competency level
- Maintain accurate records and documents related to patient care
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is also accepted, along with any unit-specific certifications and competencies
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is highly preferred
