We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Dessert Maestro to join our team at Placement Point in Hazelwood.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating unique and delicious pastries and desserts, with a focus on consistency in taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create innovative pastry and dessert offerings that exceed customer expectations
  • Maintain high standards of quality and presentation across all menu items
  • Oversee daily production to ensure seamless execution of recipes and menus
  • Train and mentor junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus and special offerings
  • Refine existing recipes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
  • Experiment with new recipes and ingredients to stay ahead of the competition
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior pastry or dessert role
  • Matric (Grade 12) from the hospitality industry
  • Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Benefits
