Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead and deliver our multi-year programme of strategic and operational online projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen and the ability to translate strategy into execution through the delivery of programme initiatives.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement the Online Fulfilment Programme to meet organisational objectives, ensuring senior stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Oversee multiple project teams, consisting of both internal and external resources, to achieve programme goals.
  • Manage the overall programme to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery, resulting in desired benefits.
  • Ensure effective transition of projects into the operational environment, identifying and addressing systemic risks.
  • Establish and implement programme processes for assessing success and introducing improvements.
Daily & Monthly Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the new business development team, project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and project managers to plan and deliver new initiatives.
  • Align resources, work plans, budgets, and timing for new initiatives to form part of a coherent programme delivery.
  • Identify key programme requirements from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Develop and manage the programme budget with stakeholders to deliver against business goals.
  • Work with other programme and project managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the business area.
  • Understand and provide feedback and reporting to manage key stakeholders' expectations relative to programme execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, with relevant industry qualifications.
  • 5+ years in a management role, preferably with programme management experience, and a track record of working through others to deliver complex and interdependent initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to manage and influence key stakeholders.
  • Preference for experience working in Retail and/or a Digital environment.
  • Strong experience in landing complex change into a national operational environment.
