Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team at Red Ember Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about human resources and has a strong background in administration.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR team, ensuring that all HR activities comply with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies. This role requires excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain and update employee records, including personal details, contracts, leave balances, attendance, and performance reviews.
  • Data Protection: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations when handling employee information.
  • Filing and Organization: Manage the filing and organization of employee documents, both digital and paper.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist with recruitment by posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Resume Screening and Interviews: Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to shortlist candidates.
  • Offer Letters and Contracts: Prepare offer letters and employment contracts for new hires.
  • Onboarding Process: Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation, training, and documentation.
  • Offboarding Process: Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews, final pay, and retrieval of company property.
  • Payroll Support: Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying timesheets, attendance, and other relevant data.
  • Employee Benefits: Assist in administering employee benefits, including enrolment, claims, and changes.
  • Employee Inquiries: Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
  • Statutory Reports: Assist in preparing and submitting statutory reports, such as employee tax forms and labor compliance documents.
  • Knowledge Updates: Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations that may affect the organization.
  • PPE and HSE: Assist with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) requirements.
  • Conflict Resolution: Provide support in conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and development programs for employees.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A Diploma in HR Management or a Degree in Human Resources (BA Psychology, BSC Psychology, BCOM, etc).
  • Proven experience as an HR Administrator or in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Intermediate Excel Knowledge.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with HR software and tools (e.g. SAGE VIP payroll systems).
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
