Job Title: Industrial Relations Manager

Location: Meyerton, South Africa (with travel to Olifantsfontein and Alberton)

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Market related, commensurate with experience

Availability: Immediate start preferred

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage industrial relations activities for our client's operations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and maintaining positive relationships with employees and unions.
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain harmonious relationships between management, employees, and unions.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on matters related to the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA) and Labour Relations Act (LRA).
- Handle union processes, including negotiations, grievances, and dispute resolution.
- Coordinate and manage strike action processes, including communication with stakeholders and legal compliance.
- Collaborate with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
- Monitor and analyze industrial relations trends and recommend proactive measures to address issues.
- Travel between branches as needed, with expenses reimbursed.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Industrial Relations Manager or similar role, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the BCEA, LRA, union processes, strike action processes, and labour court procedures.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field (preferred).
- Mature and experienced professional, preferably African Male.
- Available for immediate start.

Pay: R30 000,00 - R60 000,00 per month
