Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in assigned portfolios, meeting specific sales, volume, and margin targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business management to assess business requirements for sales enablement.
- Engage with customers directly and electronically to facilitate customer relationships, with a focus on growing sales volumes, margins, and share of wallet profitably.
- Develop and implement sales plans for PGP Hard Goods, including multi-brand sales and articulating the value proposition to customers.
- Plan and execute local and branch shows, including Electra Mining and Nampo, to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Develop and manage corrective action processes for deviations from required targets, and participate in a global peer group to ensure business objectives are met.
- Develop sales budgets and costing models for portfolios/areas aligned with sales strategies, and implement review systems to manage underperforming accounts.
- Matric and business or marketing qualification, with at least 5-10 years of experience in sales, portfolio, and account management.
- Strong interpersonal and industrial selling skills, with good knowledge of PGP Hard Goods products and processes.
- Segment and industry knowledge and experience specifically in relation to welding products, processes, and procedures.
