Software Product Owner

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Product Owner to join our team at Farm Manager SA. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing product features, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Feature Management: Evaluate and define product features at each development iteration, ensuring alignment with client needs and business goals.
  • Product Backlog Management: Prioritize and communicate the product backlog effectively to ensure smooth development progress and timely delivery.
  • Quality Control and Testing: Review and validate that the work delivered meets or exceeds client expectations and internal quality standards.
  • Client Interaction: Act as the primary liaison between the product team and clients, ensuring clear communication, providing training, and offering ongoing support.
  • Business Process Evaluation: Assess business processes, identify requirements, and uncover areas for improvement to enhance product efficiency.
  • Market Analysis: Stay ahead of market trends by understanding customer needs, prioritizing strategies, and translating them into actionable development tasks.
  • Product Sales Input: Lead product demonstrations and follow-up with clients to clearly communicate the product's unique value proposition and differentiation from competitors.
  • Software Implementation Project Management: Proficient in planning, executing, and closing projects on time and within budget, with strong skills in team coordination, communication, and risk management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within the software development industry.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
