Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Operations Director to lead our financial operations team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic financial plans, managing financial reporting, and overseeing financial operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, budgeting, and reporting, with experience in developing and managing new frameworks, processes, and procedures across a growing business. You will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic financial plans
Manage financial reporting, including audits and budgeting processes
Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, revenue recognition, and inventory control
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing finance team, setting goals and fostering continuous improvement

Benefits

Requirements

CA(SA) + minimum 5 years post in retail/e-commerce
Strong general financial background with proven skills in financial accounting, budgeting, and reporting, treasury, and cash flow management
Ability to work and keep up in a fast-paced, changing business environment
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Proven experience developing and managing new frameworks, processes, and procedures across a growing business
Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
Team management
