About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Data Operations strategy and technology setup for EMEA projects, providing leadership/management for database programming, data integration, data management, statistical services, and medical writing.

You will oversee Global Data Operations team members, liaise with the Account Lead, functional leaders, and clients to ensure timely delivery of Data Operations deliverables. This includes managing budgets and resourcing for assigned studies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and influencing capabilities to achieve business objectives and goals
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, third-party vendors, and stakeholders
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and support initiatives to ensure timely delivery of clinical trials milestones
  • Evaluate and implement Data Operation technology setup for complex projects/programs
  • Create and execute project timelines plans covering all GDO deliverables
  • Ensure the use of data standards in the clinical trial environment
  • Work with study teams and Data Standards Associates to enforce data standards
  • Take on AL responsibilities for projects involving a small number of services
Requirements
  • Several years' experience within CRO/Pharma/Biotech
  • Demonstrated application of project management concepts
  • Proven record of leading a project team in a technical/programming, data management, or statistical environment
  • Proficient understanding of cross-functional activities
  • Bachelor's degree in a science or industry-related discipline
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Ability to manage multiple studies with enthusiasm and prioritize workload
  • Knowledge of SOPs/guidelines, ICH-GCP, and other applicable local and international regulations
