As a Production Equipment Engineer at Network Recruitment, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our production equipment. This includes performing routine and preventive maintenance on milling and feed processing machinery, diagnosing and repairing any mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues that may arise.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems, with experience in milling and animal feed production environments. We are looking for someone who can work effectively in a team environment, communicate complex ideas clearly, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on milling and feed processing machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in production equipment.
  • Ensure the optimal performance of feed milling systems, conveyors, mixers, and related equipment.
  • Work with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Millwright with a recognized trade certification.
  • Proven experience in milling and animal feed production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented setting.
  • Willingness to work shifts and be on standby for emergency repairs.
