About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Principal to join our team at Network Recruitment. As an Investment Principal, you will be responsible for leading project teams and originating transactions in the infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Origination and Management: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the infrastructure sector, working closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Exposure to Private Equity and Project Finance Transactions: Collaborate with our team to source and execute private equity and project finance transactions, leveraging your expertise in the infrastructure sector to drive growth and returns.
  • Lead Negotiations on Transactions: Utilize your negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions for our clients, ensuring successful transaction outcomes.
  • Explain and Model Historical and Projected Financial Information: Develop and present financial models to stakeholders, providing clear and concise explanations of complex financial data to inform investment decisions.
  • Lead Project Teams with High-Level Stakeholders: Manage and motivate project teams, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive project delivery and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • CA(SA) / MBA / CFA qualification
  • At least 7 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on the infrastructure sector
  • Proven track record of leading project teams and originating transactions
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
