German International Host

At Crew Life at Sea, we are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic German International Host to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • Assist guests with inquiries and requests, providing accurate and timely information about ship activities, events, and ports of call.
  • Coordinate and lead group activities and events for German-speaking guests, promoting a sense of community and inclusivity.
  • Ensure all guest needs are met and exceeded, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in public areas.
  • Act as a liaison between guests and other departments on the ship, facilitating effective communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Handle and resolve guest complaints or issues in a timely and efficient manner, upholding the company's standards and policies.
  • Participate in safety drills and trainings as required, prioritizing the well-being of guests and crew.
  • Assist with embarkation and disembarkation procedures, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for all guests.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in German and English (additional languages are a plus), with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a positive attitude and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary travel documents.
