Key Responsibilities:

* Sell and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through relationship-based approach and product awareness.
* Expand representative base throughout Africa to increase footprint.
* Demonstrate products and services to customers, assisting them in selecting the best solutions for their needs.

Job Details:

* Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and prospects to generate new business.
* Liaise with customers via presentations, communication, and in-person visits.
* Research sources for developing new customers and gathering information on their potential.
* Develop clear and effective proposals and quotations for customers.
* Resolve customer problems and complaints, and coordinate sales efforts with internal teams.
* Identify and analyze market potential, and determine customer value to the organization.
* Plan and organize personal sales strategy to maximize ROI.
* Provide regular reports on customer needs, problems, and potential for new products and services.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.

Reporting:

* Reports directly to the Commercial Manager.

Requirements:

* MS Office (E-Mail, Word, Excel, Power Point) proficiency.
* Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience.
* Cold calling and presentation skills.
* Industry knowledge and networks.

Experience and Qualifications:

* Proven track record in sales, with preference for marine/boating sales experience.
* Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills, and strong CRM background.
* Demonstrated skill in prospecting, including cold calling.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
