About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of learners in the Gauteng region. You will work closely with community groups to foster response to communicable and non-communicable diseases and other community needs. Your primary function will be to provide health education to learners and parents about the importance of immunizations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the identification, design, and delivery of health awareness campaigns at clinic and community level
- Maintain and sustain acceptable administrative procedures and provide relevant information for management to establish health trends, identify gaps, and optimize planning in the delivery of healthcare
- Provide health education to learners and parents about the importance of immunizations
- Conduct health assessments of learners according to relevant policies and guidelines
- Apply procedural nursing sequences with regards to diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, evaluation, and control of communicable and non-communicable diseases
- Initiate, facilitate, and maintain community and intersectoral collaboration at clinic/regional level
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Support Partners, Non-profit Organizations, and other Community Structures)

Requirements:
- Matric certificate (NQF level 4)
- Diploma or Degree in General Nursing (NQF level 6)
- SANC registration
- 3 years' post-registration as a Professional Nurse
- Basic knowledge of interpersonal relations and customer relations
