Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Assistant to join our team in the Northern Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration, with experience in managing internal operations and providing exceptional support to teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards for business operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all administrative tasks.
  • Assist in audit processes, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Manage and control bank and petty cash, ensuring accurate financial reporting and minimizing risk to the company.
  • Process goods received vouchers and complete invoices, ensuring timely payment and reducing administrative burdens.
  • Process stock claims, maintaining accurate records and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Filing relevant documents according to set out standards, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information.
  • Minimize risk to the company by implementing robust controls and procedures.
  • Provide excellent client service, responding promptly to queries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Perform other job-related administrative duties as required.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification.
  • Experience in the agriculture industry, preferably in a similar role.
  • Numerate skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Thorough, precise, and accurate, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to add value to current functions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.

Estimated Salary: R120,000 - R150,000 per annum
