The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and monitoring project schedules, providing up-to-date data to assist with the management of project activities to the highest quality, in line with Company, Client, and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing project schedules for each phase of the project including project development, planning approvals, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, transport, construction, and commissioning.
  • Reading and interpreting typical design deliverables such as flow sheets, P&IDs, drawings, equipment lists, and other data required to prepare and maintain a project schedule.
  • Supporting the project team to prepare project schedules and provide up-to-date data to assist with the management of project activities to the highest quality.
  • Responding immediately to changes to ensure projects are completed on time in accordance with the contractual scope of work and services.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of planning experience in mineral processing/construction projects.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to use specific proprietary software packages.
  • Ability to prepare accurate, detailed schedules and reports to meet strict project deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional knowledge of project planning and management.
  • Aptitude in building and sustaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while consistently producing high-quality deliverables.
  • A self-starter who can readily adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
