Project Manager Job Description

Dimension Data is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects from initiation to closure, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including assigning tasks, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that team members have the necessary skills and resources to complete their tasks.
  • Coordinate and manage project stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and control project progress, including tracking project metrics, identifying and mitigating risks, and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Ensure that project deliverables are met, including managing project scope, schedule, and budget.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Relevant project management certifications, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead and motivate project teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Microsoft Web Technologies.
  • Experience in software development, system or business analysis.
