Job Description

Dimension Data is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to closure, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including assigning tasks, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that team members have the necessary skills and resources to complete their tasks.
  • Coordinate and manage project stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and control project progress, including tracking project metrics, identifying and mitigating risks, and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Ensure that project deliverables are met, including managing project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
Requirements
  • Relevant university degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to lead and manage project teams, coordinate and manage project stakeholders, and develop and maintain project plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and mitigate risks, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant project management certification, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
  • Experience working in a similar role in a similar industry.
