Key Responsibilities:- Prospect for new clients through networking, cold calling, and door-to-door canvassing for new business.
- Effectively communicate with both internal stakeholders and clients.
- Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations for clients.
- Provide solutions to clients by selling OUTsurance short-term products aligned to their needs.
- Draft, track, and measure personal business plans.
- Provide ongoing service and support to individual client bases.
- Retain existing business, including renewal discussions in line with FAIS.
- Develop internal and external relationships with clients.
- Continuously build client bases, securing future income.
- Stay up-to-date with commercial insurance market changes and developments.
- Achieve/exceed targets consistently.
- Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate.
- FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (Depending on DOFA).
- RE5 (Depending on DOFA).
- Own reliable transport.
- Valid code B driver's license.
- 3 years external sales experience (If not from the insurance industry).
- Self-starter.
- Communication (verbal and written) in English.
- Numerical & mathematical skills.

In accordance with OUTsurance Insurance Company Ltd Employment Equity goals, preference will be given to individuals who meet the job requirements and are from the various designated groups.
The OUTsurance Broker will report directly to the Regional Manager and will work closely with the wider Face to Face channel.
