Responsibilities

The Health Value Lead will be responsible for the following:
  • Developing and executing market access strategies to ensure the successful launch of our products in the SSA market.
  • Leading the Market Access activities in the SSA cluster, including pricing, reimbursement, health outcomes, and patient outcomes responsibilities.
  • Oversighting the H&V team's operations, ensuring compliance with company leadership principles and values.
  • Working closely with customers to maximize the full potential of solution offerings, leveraging strong market access experience to drive business objectives within the matrix organization.
  • Partnering and collaborating with Finance, Global Manufacturing/Logistics/Supply, Regulatory, Public Affairs, and Commercial Leaders in-country, regionally, and at the global level.
  • Ensuring that market access strategies are appropriate for all SSA markets and aligned with global and regional strategies.
  • Optimizing and implementing market access plans across all therapeutic areas.
  • Coordinating the execution of access plans.
  • Ensuring successful launch strategies for new products.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Access/Patient Outcomes/Pricing and a minimum of 2-3 years in people managerial capacity, preferably in Market Access and related functions. They will possess a Bachelor's Degree in healthcare sciences or equivalent and a Business Management Degree and Health Economics experience is an advantage. Key skills include the ability to interact and influence senior leadership, knowledge of positioning price as part of commercial mix for in-line and pipeline assets, in-depth understanding of pricing and access strategy & tactics, working knowledge of payer/reimbursement dynamics in key markets, Patient outcomes management, and ability to develop value proposition customized for market/asset needs.
