Job Title: Operations Team Leader

Description:

The Operations Team Leader will be responsible for supervising and coordinating daily activities amongst a team to achieve a smooth workflow. This includes managing costs and expenses within approved budgets to achieve cost efficiencies, engaging with customers in a professional manner, and resolving customer queries efficiently and within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage costs and expenses within approved budgets to achieve cost efficiencies
  • Engage with customers in a professional manner and ensure customer needs and expectations are understood
  • Resolve customer queries efficiently and within agreed timelines
  • Plan and develop learning schedules for team members and submit for review and approval
  • Comply with governance requirements in terms of legislative and audit requirements
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through proactive and innovative solutions
  • Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with stakeholders
  • Proactive supervision of team members to avoid customer breakdown
  • Provide an efficient administration service through careful planning and reporting
  • Comply with governance requirements in terms of legislative and audit requirements
  • Track and control activities to increase operational efficiencies
  • Collate and report on operational progress as aligned to strategic objectives
  • Ensure team members have the necessary skills and capacity to adhere to operational and service standards
  • Manage performance, skills development, and employment equity of team members
  • Manage personal and team development to increase skills and competencies

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operations management and customer service principles. They will be able to lead and motivate a team to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
