The role of a Management Accountant (Grants and Partnerships) is to oversee the financial aspects of partnerships, ensuring that all grants are properly managed. The ideal candidate will have experience in grant management, donor reporting, and partnership accounting.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is £53,507 per annum, with additional benefits and investment in personal development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop budgets for concept notes and proposals.
  • Ensure financial requirements for grants are managed properly by all involved in approved grants.
  • Allocate expenditure to grants according to the agreed budget.
  • Prepare financial reports for donors according to donor requirements.
  • Lead or support donor audits against the grants.
  • Maintain and improve partnership management guidelines from the financial aspect.

Requirements
Candidates applying for this role must have the following qualifications:
  • Proven experience in grant management cycle and Donor Reporting and Proposals.
  • Proven experience in the financial aspects of Partnership management and the allocation of Expenditure to a number of Donors.
  • Significant knowledge on working on Donor Budgets, Reports and Audits.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both internal and external stakeholders.
