Job Title: Senior Finance Administrator

Staff Solutions Recruitment seeks a highly skilled Senior Finance Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial management skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a keen eye for detail.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze WIP timesheet data on Caseware to create new projects, maintain records, and report to senior management.
  2. Produce capacity reports for the executive team based on timesheet information, identifying areas for improvement.
  3. Onboard new employees, setting up their timesheet systems, charge-out rates, and time types.
  4. Conduct weekly financial analysis, comparing project costs, revenue, and billing progress.
  5. Lead, motivate, and support the admin and daily operations team.
  6. Collaborate with the director and executive team to provide high-level administrative support and analysis.
  7. Oversee operational processes, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows across departments.
  8. Maintain project details, the project register, and the interface between Caseware Cloud and Caseware Time.
  9. Manage staff charge-out rates and maintain timesheet information on Caseware, approving work-in-progress reporting.
  10. Generate Caseware WIP and staff productivity reports.
  11. Ensure maximum profitability by analyzing WIP from project engagement to completion.
  12. Analyze each project's cost, revenue, and billing progress on a weekly basis.
  13. Present annual financial statements and monthly management accounts to the CEO.
  14. Provide ad hoc finance/project support as needed.
  15. Identify areas for improvement by analyzing financial data and trends.
  16. Conduct variance analysis and offer recommendations for performance enhancement.
  17. Translate senior management directives into actionable policies, implementing changes with staff.
  18. Identify business process challenges through data analysis and metrics.
  19. Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and financial transactions.
  20. Develop, implement, and manage process flow improvements with cross-functional teams.
  21. Prepare high-level business process reports and presentations for senior management.
  22. Offer insights and recommendations to management for cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification: BCom degree.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or financial field.
  • Excellent management skills and a clear understanding of practice management.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Pastel knowledge.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Caseware experience is essential.
  • Strong financial acumen.
