Sales Growth Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Growth Strategist to join our Sustainable Technology - Distribution Division based in Briardene, KZN office.

This role involves working closely with customers to drive sales growth and promote the sale of Rubicon products, including generating new business opportunities, qualifying leads, developing long-term customer relationships, implementing strategic plans, and managing assigned customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to acquire a thorough knowledge of the company's products and pass that knowledge to customers with great enthusiasm and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sustainable growth.
  2. Prepare action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects within assigned sales regions.
  3. Cultivate profitable and sustainable sales growth through engagement with current, potential, and dormant customers within the assigned sales region.
  4. Schedule regular, in-person customer meetings (set targets to be met).
  5. Establish and maintain productive, long-term professional relationships with decision-makers at customer organizations and create action plans for follow-up; Key accounts could require monthly/weekly visits.
  6. Close and grow sales through professional communication and interaction with current and potential customers and provide exemplary customer service throughout the sales cycle.
  7. Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  8. Support customers with technical advice.
  9. Create and maintain account plans for assigned customers and value opportunities.
  10. Communicate sales or service opportunities and customer concerns or suggestions.
