Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Multiskilled Cinema Associate to join our team. As a key member of our cinema staff, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cashiering and Sales: Operate as a cashier at Box Office Sales/Catering Sales or Collections, handling transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Cinema Assistant Duties: Support cinema operations by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products offered by Ster-Kinekor, including promotional/marketing activities.
• Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare high-quality food and beverages according to established standards, ensuring presentation and quality meet expectations.
• Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and surrounding areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Uniform and Grooming Standards: Ensure adherence to uniform and grooming standards at all times, promoting a professional image.
• Quality Control and Assurance: Monitor and report any deviations from quality standards, taking corrective action when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Maturity Certificate (Matric): A minimum requirement for this role.
• Work Experience: 0-1 year of relevant work experience in a similar position.
• Skills:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Administrative and Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain accurate records.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office Suite.
  • VISTA Knowledge: Advantageous but not essential.
• Estimated Salary: R25,000 - R30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
