About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Campus IT Technician to join our team at CTU Career Chatz. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our campus IT infrastructure and providing exceptional support to our staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-level support for staff and clients, troubleshooting issues and resolving technical problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, software, and networking equipment.
  • Train users on software applications and systems, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accurate tracking of equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updating software and hardware, to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with the Head Office IT Administrators and other campus teams to ensure seamless communication and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years' experience working with IT equipment, inventory, and first-level support.
  • Strong understanding of audits, inspections, and comparing data.
  • Proven ability to achieve goals and deadlines.
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule and be punctual on documentation.
  • Microsoft 365 International exam (Advantage) and NQF 4 (IT Tech support) qualifications.
