We are looking for a skilled accounts payable professional to join our team as a Procurement and Accounts Payable Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile control accounts to sub-ledgers for ZAR, EUR, and USD.
- Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and GRNs.
- Allocate supplier invoices to the correct general ledger account.
- Ensure only valid tax invoices are processed.
- Reconcile trade creditors accounts with Forward system statements.
- Investigate and clear GRN Control account and goods in transit account discrepancies.
- Process trade creditors payments and allocate to correct supplier invoices.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and print month-end reports for payment runs.
- Follow up on supplier queries and ensure card transactions are processed correctly.
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics, English, and Accounting.
- National Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in FMCG or Manufacturing environment.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems like Forward, SAP, and Syspro.
- Foreign creditors experience in ZAR, EUR, and USD.
