At HR Genie, we are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional support to our employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and process payroll data, including EXCO files and employee records, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including attendance registers and employee files.
- Receive and process leave requests, ensuring timely authorization and notification to managers.
- Reconcile attendance registers with ESS data on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and submit reports, including HR reports, payroll data, and financial year-end reports, as required.
- Assist the HR Manager with the preparation and compilation of various reports and documents.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including employment equity and compensation fund requirements.
- Preferred degree in HR Management studies or a related field.
- At least 4-6 years of experience in a talent management role, preferably in a global multinational company.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the business.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work in a team environment and participate in team initiatives and projects.
