About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain Management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services essential for the development of our innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Procurement Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's goals and sustainability principles.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, ethical, and environmental standards.
Vendor Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, contracts, and agreements to optimize cost efficiency and project timelines.
Budget Oversight:
  • Collaborate with project management and finance teams to develop and manage procurement budgets.
  • Monitor and control costs while maintaining the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
Quality Assurance:
  • Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure that all procured materials and services meet Ad Talent Africa's standards.
  • Work closely with the design and project management teams to guarantee seamless integration of procurement activities.
Sustainability Integration:
  • Drive initiatives to enhance the sustainability of procurement processes and materials, aligning with the company's commitment to environmental responsibility.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and inspire the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting professional development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior procurement role, preferably within the construction, architecture, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices and sustainability principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
