About the Role:

Smdtechnologies is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join its eCommerce/Digital department as an admin clerk.

The successful candidate will be responsible for freeing up key account managers' time by handling administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on sales strategies that develop and enhance buyer and product manager relationships, online product enrichments, and online promotions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Fulfillment: Process orders efficiently, ensuring maximum 2-day turnaround for picking, packing, and delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Manage stock levels accurately, ensuring forecasts are correct and identifying end-of-life stock for relevant promotions.
  • Customer Service: Assist eCommerce Key Account Managers in resolving customer complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Pricing and Promotions: Maintain and update pricing as needed for promotions and specials.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide accurate sales reports and maintain sales records according to company and departmental policy.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and able to quickly learn new CRM and Stock management systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Well-organised, disciplined, efficient, and data-driven.
