Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Credit Risk team: Oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of credit risks across our lending and investment portfolio.
  • Evaluate risk levels: Provide expertise in the evaluation and recommendation of acceptable risk levels across our lending and investment activities.
  • Develop credit policies: Ensure credit policies and procedures are robust, align with all policies and regulatory requirements, and support our organization's strategic objectives.

In this role, you will guide and support various stakeholders, including subordinates, executive management, board risk committees, and internal and external auditors. You will also contribute to setting the risk appetite levels for the organization and ensure exceptions are escalated and reviewed.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of an Honor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related commercial field.
  • Non-commercial degrees combined with extensive credit risk management experience will be considered.
  • Candidates with a commercial master's qualification will have an advantage.

You will also need to possess strong leadership competencies, such as resilience, decisiveness, people engagement, communication, diverse stakeholder management, teamwork, change leadership, strategic thinking, and a business mindset.
