We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Recruitment Solutions. Located in Pretoria, this exciting opportunity offers the chance to work with a dynamic and energetic team.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and experience in the environmental sector. The primary responsibility will be to identify and secure new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with clients, and contribute to the growth and success of the company.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the environmental sector, both in South Africa and across borders.
- Assist unit managers and key account managers with heightening market awareness of the company to grow existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for current and future markets.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies and plans.
- Support development of company website and social media.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients in collaboration with unit managers and key account managers in line with company strategy.
- Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for all parties.
- Promote the company to prospective employees by heightening awareness of the company profile to attract talent, through effective digital media marketing campaigns.
- Establish links and build networks with tertiary institutions producing graduates that could find employment with the company.
- Collaborate with unit managers, geographic offices, and key account managers to ensure the correct expertise is applied to meet client requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities and performance, with recommendations for improvement.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company.
- Provide input and support for strategic planning and business development initiatives.
- Degree/Higher Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in business development, with a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and industry standards, not only in South Africa but also in the rest of Africa.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and partners at all levels.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with experience using data analytics tools.
- Planning, organising, and execution able to identify opportunities and develop actionable plans to capitalise on them.
- Motivated to succeed financially.
This position is office-based, located in Pretoria, offering a competitive salary of R850,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses based on performance.
