Key Responsibilities
  • Forecasting and Planning: Develop and maintain accurate item plans, particularly for core PC9s, and drive item-level forecasting to optimize inventory levels.
  • Account Management: Foster strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to meet their needs.
  • Seasonal Planning: Lead the planning process for pre-season, in-season, and post-season periods, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
  • Margin and Profitability: Analyze and optimize the overall margin and profitability of the assortment, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Fill Rate and Inventory Health: Monitor and improve fill rates for core PC9s and overall inventory health, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Business Performance and Trend Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of business performance metrics, such as sell-through rates and inventory holding levels, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Return Rates and Inventory Optimization: Identify and address areas for improvement in return rates and inventory management, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a merchandise planning function, preferably in the apparel or consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Skills: Proven forecasting and planning expertise, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
