Job Description:


Stock Management and Ordering Coordinator


This role involves overseeing and managing daily stock counts, ensuring accuracy is crucial. You will be responsible for ordering stock and packing materials, creating purchase orders, and receiving stock. In addition, you will be responsible for supervising the stock controller and maintaining good relationships with suppliers. Basic bookkeeping skills and strong administrative skills are necessary for this role. You must be highly organized, able to work well under pressure, and have a valid driver's license. Reliable transport is a must. You will be required to work weekends and public holidays.


Responsibilities:



  • Oversee and manage daily stock counts
  • Ordering of stock and packing materials
  • Creating purchase orders and receiving stock
  • Supervising the stock controller
  • Maintaining good relationships with suppliers
  • Basic bookkeeping skills
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Work well under pressure
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transport

Requirements:



  • Matric certificate
  • Tertiary qualifications may be advantageous
  • Must be computer literate and proficient in Excel
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced factory environment
