Job Overview:


Nexio seeks a skilled Field Services Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for installing and configuring network switches, routers, hosted IP telephony systems, and other customer premise equipment.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Install, configure, and support Cisco and Huawei customer equipment, as well as Ascidian NID devices.
  • Provide solution and product-specific consultation and support to customers.
  • Configure and set up networking devices for deployment on the Vodacom network.
  • Ensure devices are configured correctly for deployment.
  • Manage regional support stock levels to meet customer needs.
  • Attend and advise solution scoping meetings to ensure successful project outcomes.


Requirements:


In this role, you will require strong experience in telephony devices, good technical knowledge of LAN and WAN infrastructure, excellent in-depth network knowledge, and understanding of SD-WAN solutions.



  • You should have a solid understanding of wireless solutions and be able to design and deploy Cisco switch configurations.


Qualifications:


To be considered for this position, you should hold relevant certifications such as CCNA or equivalent, HCNA, and preferably HCNP and CCNP.


Compensation and Benefits:


The estimated salary for this position is R750,000 - R1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
