Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager or alternate shifts with the Store Manager.
  • Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Establish or identify prices of goods, services, and products, utilizing optical price scanners.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide information on company policies and procedures.
  • Be willing to work overtime, ensuring seamless store operations.
  • Liaise with internal and external clients, fostering strong relationships.
  • Work effectively in a team, promoting a positive store environment.
  • Perform cashier duties as needed and engage in daily client service activities, providing exceptional customer experiences.
  • Stack products and manage stock control of fresh, frozen, and smoked products, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Handle incoming stock and perform filleting on fresh products, adhering to quality control standards.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Mid-senior level experience in a supervisory role within the Consumer Goods industry.
  • Good knowledge of retail operations and product management.
  • Ability to function independently and work under pressure, making sound decisions.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt quickly to changing store environments.
  • Pro-active and customer service-oriented, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • Compliant with Pre-Placement Analysis, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Self-motivated, with a passion for store operations and customer satisfaction.
