Job Overview

SGS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our sampling activities are carried out in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Mission Orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site assessments to ensure that sampling activities are being carried out in accordance with SOPs and Mission Orders.
  • Monitor and report any deviations or issues that arise during sampling activities.
  • Supervise and train staff on sampling procedures and ensure that they are adhering to SGS policies and rules.
  • Coordinate quality control activities across trade sites and plan staff requirements with site supervisors.
  • Initiate formal improvement requests when deviations or nonconformities are identified.
Requirements
  • Matric/National Senior Certificate.
  • Sampling procedure knowledge of minerals.
  • Proficiency in English (read, write, speak).
  • Any other languages an added advantage.
  • Driver's license.
  • Computer literacy (minimum Word and Excel).
