About the Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A strong background in health and safety training, with experience in planning and preparing training sessions, presenting training material, and facilitating training according to SAQA/SETA/QCTO/NOSA requirements.
  • A minimum of 2 years HSE training experience.
  • 5 years industry experience.
  • Accreditation as a Train the Trainer with registration as an Assessor and Moderator.
  • A National Diploma in Safety Management, SAMTRAC certificate, or equivalent.
  • ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 certificates (advantageous).
  • Fluency in English and at least one other national language.
  • Familiarity with MS Office suites (Outlook, Zoom, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • A driver's license and own a reliable vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • A suitable workstation and reliable internet access for remote work.
