Job Summary:

The Company is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager - Health and Safety Lead to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal standards and in-house policies, and will play a key role in enforcing regulations across all aspects and levels of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining a SHE system within the Group.
  2. Attend to SHE related functions and ensure job tasks are completed timely and timeously.
  3. Drive the safety, health, environmental and risk management strategy for the Group operations.
  4. Identify key organization-wide trends/ shifts/ issues relating to SHE, that impact on strategy, implementation of SHE procedures/policies and ensure that effective SHE plans are in place to address risk register.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant National Diploma or B Tech Degree in Safety Management / Risk Management or relevant equivalent qualification.
  2. SAMTRAC and COMSOC 2 Certificates will be advantageous.
  3. Accredited with HPCSA.
  4. NEBOSH, or equivalent will be an advantage.

Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years post qualification experience in Health and Safety Management, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, mining, or commercial services environment.
