About The Role

The General Manager at Moove is a senior leadership position that entails overall responsibility for driving the company's strategic direction and operational excellence. As the General Manager, you will oversee various departments, manage key performance indicators, and work closely with the executive team to align business goals with successful execution.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop launch and operational strategies to ensure product-market fit.
  2. Collaborate with the Strategy & Planning team to devise pricing and product strategies.
  3. Set up, lead, and scale Moove's business operations in the geography.

  5. Plan, process, and execute approved vehicle purchases through partner OEMs.

  7. Ensure vehicles are maintained properly.
  8. Register and license all vehicles under management.
  9. Find ways to cut costs and maximize profits.
  10. Manage safety and compliance functions.
  11. Contribute to the budgeting process from a Fleet Operations perspective.
  12. Liaise with peers within the region and company to share knowledge and optimize operations.
  13. Monitor driver behavior and ensure high customer service.
  14. Analyze data to increase business operational efficiency.
  15. Lead deployment and quality of the supply chain (Moove Driver-partners).
  16. Collaborate with marketing teams to initiate creative local strategies and user growth campaigns.
Requirements
  1. Degree in Logistics or Mechanical Engineering or Management.
  2. Ideal 10+ years of similar experience in logistics or supply functions in startups.
  3. Excellent communication skills.
  4. Strong negotiation skills.
  5. Outstanding organizational skills.
  6. Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
  7. Candidates will be subject to analytical tests prior to interviews.
  8. Candidates must be tech-savvy and data-centric.
  9. MBA preferred but not mandatory.
  10. Growth mindset to scale up products and new geographies.

  2. Weekly Fleet Utilization 96% of the fleet - Actuals vs Targets.
